Luxury Self Catering Cabin on the Isle of Skye

The traditional Scottish meaning of ‘coorie’ is of a place of warmth and safety, in more modern times it has become a byword for slowing one's pace and reconnecting with the natural world.

Skye Coorie Cabin is an award winning cosy, shoreside self catering cabin with fitted kitchen, sitting/dining room and separate bedroom with ensuite. The cabin has everything you might need in your home from home, and makes a relaxing and comfortable based whilst exploring all our stunning isle has to offer.  Outside the cabin, guests have their own seating area, with picnic bench, BBQ and fire pit as well as direct access to the shore; with high tide often lapping the garden wall, we are perfectly placed for launching your canoes or paddle board.

When the tide is out, the shoreline becomes a mudflat estuary home to many different species of sea birds like curlews, cormorants and oystercatchers; if you are lucky you might also see otters and the occasional seal family.  We are situated in a small crofting community, so you will encounter rural animals like sheep and cattle etc, so it's important you are respectful of this, no excessive noise, no fireworks and we ask you to leave only footprints.

Skye Coorie Cabin is family owned and run - Lori will be your main point of contact, so unless I'm on the hour long school run or helping my parents who live over the road, I'm on hand to help with anything you need.  

Skye Coorie is non smoking, suitable for two people sharing - unfortunately we don't accept children, pets or parties and we are not best suited for people with limited mobility.
